| Well time to try something new, and jump on the nitro-electric band wagon. I got in a trade what I was told was a MT but I think its a MT2 since it has a 2 speed set up in it (ring in if I'm wrong) so leads me to believe it the MT2. Well As soon as I knew this was coming I put PIG up for trade for an ESC/MOTOR combo, and was lucky enough to get a Mamba Monster Max with a 9l motor. Heres what I traded for the esc/motor........ did I do good, or did I screw myself? ARTR Just add radio gear + servo I have recieved the MT and started in looking things over and its in pretty good shape but rear diff will need new gears very soon under the brushless power for sure. I shimmed it but know it wont last. The rest of the truck is in pretty good shape even tho it looks like there was a total lack of mantianance. I did however shim the front diff just because it couldnt hurt it any, and it is nice and smooth. OK I'll shut up for now and post a few pics. I have been goofing around with a set up, but it won't stay like this, I was thinking a 2 pack set up but am leaning towards lipo which will probably involve trading off hillbilly. And how the mock up was ballanced out, almost a 50/50 set up and figured 40/60 with the motor installed. Well here is where its at | |

| Ya that would be cool to see how fast it will go if it holds up the the MONSTER Its got 12mm hexes that I think I'll probably end up having to glue in the rims so they don't just burn them out. We'll have to drag race MMM E-Revo VS HPI MMM BL-MT | |

| QUAKE WITH FEAR Well My MMM/9l showed today, so in my travels today I stopped in the machine shop and got some angled aluminum and made up a motor mount. I managed to avoid the work of switching around the tranny to the other side and got it all mounted in. As thick as the mount is I think it will also act as a heatsink. Well how about a bench test :thumbsup OMG this thing is going to need wings cause its going to fly ROFL | |

| I guess the Mamba Monster was a little more power than I thought. I put a diff gear set out of hillbilly just so I could really give the BL Nitro MT a real test run. Well things are going great, wow it was just amazing me how much power this it had. Well I pulled it into the driveway and punched it to do a dirt spraying 180 and it happened. I saw something go flying like 25 feet up in the air and the truck started hopping wildly. I looked at the truck and found this. Guess what I saw flying was that chunk of tire. Kinda bumming, was a brand new set of Imex Claw Dawgs I just glued them today. MMM +1 Imex 0 ROFL | |

| This project will be on hold untill I get My E-Maxx. When the e-maxx gets here the MMM and motor will be going in the maxx Then I'm going to put the e-maxx set up in the MT. I figure the MT with the EVX2 in it should be about as fast as it was as a nitro, and a little more controlable. I couldnt believe the claims power the MMM had. Before the tire blew out the truck on bare pavement would burn out all 4 tires and they would balloon before I could get control. Wish I could have got pics, but this thing is to much of a hand full driving it two handed, and I am usually my own cameraman lol Updates will begin after the E-Maxx shows up | |

| Well today still no parts in the mail, So I figured paint the chassis. I had this old John Deere paint and decal remover, So I spray the chassis plate with it and the paint just bubbles up. Just wipes rite off SWEET. Raining out can't paint. So I then hit it with brass wire brush. Then buffed it out, who needs paint, I'm going to leave it like this I like it. before: UHHHHHGG enought of that lol AFTER: Also forgot to mention going to try dumping some weight and a few volts and see what happens. In goes a 11.1v3s 25c 2200mah lipo I got these to try out figured why not a fire could be cool. Anyone try these packs yet? | |

| Hi there, I am doing the same thing to a nitro MT. Could you tell me what KV your motor is? I see you are running a 13t pinion. Do you find this gearing is a bit much for 3s lipo? I plan on using 3s lipo but am trying to figure the best motor and gearing combo. Any suggestions? Thanks | |
