| Does it do 60+mph like ad says? Just bought a savage x ss roller and was thinking about converting to brushless. Anybody heard any thing good about the new Mamba Monster 1/8 2200kv kit thats out? I've been thinking about buying one, untill i priced out 4s to 6s lipos. Holy s**t are they expensive, then you have to buy a special charger and p/s. I think it was going to over $1000 to buy motor, esc, 2 batteries, charger, and p/s. I thought about 4 batteries untill i seen that they are $289 ea for maxamps. | |

| Thanks guys. I have the brakes set way hard so when I jammed the brakes it front flipped into a cartwheel and snapped the A-Arm. I have barely got to drive it... I cant wait to get it going again.
And boomhower: the Castle BL system is AWESOME. Soooo much power its ridiculous. If you can affford it, I recommend it 100%.

| I can afford it, but the batteries are what look to be the most expensive. Has any body bought cheap looking lipos from Hong Kong off from fleabay? You can get 2 3s 35c 3000mah 11.1 batteries shipped for $61. Here it is. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| Hey Boomhower, I have a sidewinder with a 5700 in my slash, Holy Crap the only difference I see between the mamba max and sidewinder is, mm has a port on the side of the esc for the cable, sw you have to open the receiver box to get the wire to hook up the cable, I picked mine up for $100.00 plus $20 for castle link cable. I'm blown away by the power and speed, and i'm not running li-po yet, but here's some good cheap li-pos [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Im not sure I would trust those cells unless you know someone who has bought and had good luck with them. Look at some Zippys, those are cheap but good quality lipos that alot of people (including me) are using right now.

Yeah, thats almost a given. Just about any RC you do that with, and you'll blow the diffs. I know my truck can do it, but I'd rather save the trouble of replacing the gears again. - freelife04239 wrote:

Revo is probably lighter, and it has a lower CG, so it I bet it would win in a drag. And obviously on the track. That being said, dont try and take on the Savage with a beatdown session...
