So if your like me and don't want dirt on or in your shocks, you can buy covers for around 10-15 bucks. Being low on funds I saw this somewhere and thought I'd give it a try, Cost 99 cents with plenty of spares

Cool I've done that too, but do you know the easiest way to get you're shocks in the balloons?

Heck I'll tell ya lol

get you're self a 2 liter soda bottle, drop you're shock in it.
Stretch the balloon over the mouth od the bottle, squeeze the bottle and tip it upside down let the shock just fall into the inflated balloon, trim balloon.

Makes it way easier than trying to stretch the cut balloon over the spring.

Great idea. I like shock socks and while I have the shock off I put a 14 in piece of fuel tubing on the shaft as well.

14 inch? or 1/4 inch? lol yep I do too, works great . I got socks on the lst2 and mgt , but got cheap for the rc10gt, now I got a slash, put the balloons on for now, but I'm gonna try to find some fabric and make them myself.


tried a 24oz bottle , didn't work, Need a 2 litter
