I started this thread over at URC and it had quickly grown from input of various users. I'd like to thank all them as not to take credit for this list. All I did was alphabetize there additions.
Anyways... I've been going through and over time have gotten a knack for reading the abbreviations, and RC related Jargin and whatnot. I figured I would get this thread started for any Noobs out there.
ABC - Aluminum Brass Chrome
AM - Amplitude Modulation, a form of radio signal most frequently used in low-end and RTR transmitter/receiver sets. More susceptible to interference glitching than FM.
ARTF - Almost Ready To Fly
ARTR - Almost Ready To Run
ASC/ AE - Team Associated/ Associated Electronics
AWD - All Wheel Drive

BEC - Battery Eliminator Circuit
BL - Brushless
C- Capacity of a lipo battery
##C - Continuous discharge rating of a battery,
the number indicating how many times the nominal capacity (e.g. 4000mAh 20C would support 20*4000mA = 80000mA =80A continous discharge)
CC - Castle Creations
COG - Center Of Gravity
CVD - Constant Velocity Driveshaft
DSM - Delta-Signal Modulation, a signal encoding methodology used in some 2.4Ghz radios such as those from Spektrum RC.

FF - Front motor Front drive
FHSS - Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum, a radio transmission/receiving methodology used in some 2.4Ghz radios such as those from Sanwa/Airtronics.
FLM- Fast Lane Machine, Aluminum chassis making company
FM - Frequency Modulation, a form of radio signal used in pro-level transmitter/receiver systems and some higher-quality RTRs. Cleaner signal than AM, less susceptible to wayward interference.

FWD - Front Wheel Drive
GC - Ground Clearance
HSN - High Speed Needle
