| Well I'm going to build a scaler, will be my first one. I hope it turns out good enough to even start this thread but I'm gonna give it a try. Heres what I'm starting with: High lift chassis Wheely King axles I was goofing around with it and came up with this mock up that will be torn down lol Won't be using that body either lol | |

| Well I finally got a chance to do a little to it. Made front shock mounts ahd got the front end set up in a 3 link set up that will be changing into a 4 link after I fab up front link mounts, but its starting to look a little less like a pile of parts and more like the start of a truck. Pics: OK my first set up with links on the outside of the frame made it have to much flex steer so I moved them to the inside of the frame and it cut it in half. If I do the rear in a similar fassion I think it will have pretty decent articulation. More than enough for what I want out of it. Besides I'm going more for a scale look than a crawler anyway | |

| Well guys Sorry its been so long since I posted but I'll update this build since its pretty much done lol Well my tranny didnt show yet so I borrowed the one out of my grandsons pede lol I have made a few changes yet again lol. I couldnt get the pede tranny in it where I liked it with the highlift frame in its stock configuration so it had to be widened. Tranny sits about as low as I'm going to be able to get it with this frame I guess. Anyway frame widened, tranny in, shafts modded and hooked up, and links reconfigured. Shafts are at a pretty steep angle but no binding at full articulation so I think its going to be ok. Also thinking I might go with an 80's blazer body | |

| Put more time in on it today, made the wheel base 12 1/4 inches. Now the bodies I have been looking at will fit it. Had to make my rear shaft longer and made temp plates which will be replaced to make them one solid piece, and for a cleaner look. Well on the the pics and a few questions to follow. Not the body I'll be using its forsale. OK should I put my battery like this across the frame. Or like this with the frame. [/ | |
