Built a chassis from junk parts to Display bodies

I was getting tired of taking pictures of bodies I've painted like this.



So I wanted to build something that would look like a real RC sitting under the bodies and through the windows.
No more of the invisa-chassis pics like this



Well guess I had more junk parts here than I thought I did.
Found enough to build this and think it will work out fine.





Seems to be around the rite size and the rear end, ended up being adjustable length wize










Makes it look sort of like the body is sitting on a real RC think this will work out fine, now to find a set of rims/tires that are a little nicer

That is a cool idea. Have you tried to run the rig at all, or just for a stand. I moght have some tires and rims, are they the 12mm touring?

Its just a static stand non-functional.
Actually need to rebuild it I stole a bunch of screws from it when I built my crawler lmao

OK 2 quick questions for you;

1st What chassis is that?

2nd I can see that the rx antenna wire is wrapped around some lexan. But where did all those dimples come from?

Its a vintage Kyosho Ultima chassis plate

Lexan was throw away from cutting out a body lol
