I have a Ae.15 that is in the rc10gt, I bought the truck used, I put 4 gal. thru it, then did a port and polish by myself, had a new ae .15 anyway so why not, OMG , It was like I put a 2nd gear in it, total night and day difference, put another 4-5 gals thru, then I put a fantom pipe on it , Nice, it still runs but is hard to start, so I just put the new one on, Got to run acouple more tanks thru, then heck yes I will be doing it again, I don't go Gonzo on it , just a mild job, cuz I think if you go balls out that will shorten the live of the motor. | |

| I used this article [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]which is about the same as the link above. I used more of a hand file then the dremel, didn't want it skipping across the sleeve, dremel to polish. I'll see if I can find pics later | |

| Sorry Montana Mike, could'nt get into chat last nite. Pics are pretty crappy, Mothers aluminum polish works the best, with either a cloth or rubber bit. I didn't do the carb , and I didn't do the exhaust cuz I didn't want to mess with the timing. the black is where the fuel was running into the ports, these are after the port & polish and a few gallons. you can see I could have taking alot more off the the inlet to the ports, (this was my first attempt ) so I didn't go nuts Do you plan on doing a P&P to a engine? Mailk on GP had 1 ported by duckedup, said it was crazy fast | |
