i like to run the combo of 15/87 it seems to give me decnet wheel spin when i need to make the tired bark and just enough of the low end to keep decent throttle control .. I think deciding on gearing is very important and one of those personal choices that can only be made after you get your ride to run the way your accustomed to driving it .. Either way youve got yourself a decent littel machine there Free .. keep up the good work ..

Ya I made mine toooooo toooooo slow with the 55 turn in it.
The thing would pull stumps lol but having to wait for it after taking 3 steps was getting tiring and as you said sometimes you need a littke bit of grunt to get over some things.
Than truck is only what a week old now and its come WOW a long way from when you had it in the cellar blowing donuts with it and doing 20mph

I dont know Larry .. I run an Integy 60t in mine and run the 15/87 gearing in it and well of course the truck cant walk faster that my old granny with the broken walker but man does it have punch and wheel spin on the rocks .. I would say that youve come a long way from 20mph .. LOL .. Also there is NO DOUBT at some time while crawlign yoru going to need to punh the throttle and get this party started by moving that truck quickly over things .. Just make sure it suits the way you want to drive and what your driving over .. I have found that crawling is 87% personal prefrence and 13% crap i better make smaller adjustments .. LOL .. drive it enough and test, make small adjustments, test and test again .. You will have it dialed in and crawling up to change lightbulbs on the ceiling before too long
