| Hey Guys. Look what just showed up (ok, so technically I had to walk an hour to pick this up, and carry it home) Not even opened yet!! Starting to open: What's inside?? Nothing!!! It only has that packing stuff in it. I should have noticed it was too light. Naw, dont' worry, here is what actually came: Initial thoughts: 1. Bigger than I had previously thought. 2. Tires are small!!! 3. Yuck, everything smells like cigarettes. 4. Looks fast! So, I threw in my crappy 6 cell venom battery, and tested it. Thoughts: 1. This thing is FAST!!! 2. Uh Oh, left rear tire is loose 3. I'm ready to jump the pond But yeah, thats my slash. Its pretty nice outside, so, I'm going to go get in some runs!! Matt | |

| Well, just tested it with a charged 7 cell, and its pretty fast. Probably change the gearing a little, and get a better battery, seeing as the battery died withen 5 mintues | |

| NICE!!!!!! I take it that it is easier to change gearing on electrics than it is on Nitro? | |

| Pretty much. You usually don't have to take the motor out with electrics. But with nitro you have to take the whole engine out, usually | |

| Yeah, the front wheels do rub, but I haven't done enough bashing for that to become a problem yet | |

| Well, supposedly we are getting a snow storm, so I decided to take my slash out in the snow. Battery wasn't fully charged, but I was still able to get some video Never knew how hard it is to handle 2Wheel-Drive cars, esspecially in the snow Well, heres the video: And some photos: I just hope that Velineon system is actually water-resistant. | As far as I knew it wasnt, I'd contact traxxas on that because the Slash doesnt come with the velineon it comes wit a water proof esc.
You better check into it futher before doing too much wet running.

| Hmm, I've heard both sides of the story. Some say it is water resistant, some think not.
But, I took a hair dryer and made sure it was dry.

| Ok, well the ESC was fixed, and I took it out again. This time I stayed out the snow, but now I have another problem... Yes, I finally broke it. I was getting some good distance off of the road curb, but then it landed wrong, and it all went south from there. Some more pictures if your interested... Hopefully I'll get a few parts before this weekend. Matt | |
