I haven't built anything to hold up my shocks, yet... I just hold them for half an hour Razz
But, I've heard that you can cut some small holes in a yogurt container, or ice-cream container, just something to hole them...

I have seen some stands by OFNA I think it is. They look pretty nice two levels each with four holes. Just curious what else is out there and what peeps use. Your idea sounds good though, stand there for 30 minutes... HAHAHAHAHAAHA

But I let my oil flow into the shock really slowly so there aren't any airbubbles, and I haven't had any problems using that technique..

Thanks bro I also built this stand, for my drivers, that mounts to the front of my bench when I am using it and to the wall when I am not, just to keep it out of the way

Nice stands there guys, I hate welding aluminum,
I think this article is more for the hard core racer, good write-up But I've never had to use a caliper, then again I just beat the crap out of my stuff, Like ER said, I just go real slow and move the piston up and down a few times
